Sky News contributor Joe Hildebrand says the NSW government considering teachers using Artificial Intelligence is a “brilliant idea”.

Mr Hildebrand told Sky News Australia that Artificial Intelligence is “not going anywhere” so it should be “put to good use”.

“And make sure there are appropriate safeguards in place.

“We all know that teachers are being strangled by red tape, they’re being strangled by bureaucracy.

“If you could get the robots doing all this, it frees up teachers to teach in the classroom.”
