‘Scary’: Bard AI to be on Android phones for messaging assistance

Sky News host Caleb Bond says the amount of data people hand over to companies for AI to make the world a better place is scary as Android phones are set to receive new Bard AI for message assistance.

“If you’ve got an Android phone, they are going to attach their Bard AI program – to its messaging app,” Mr Bond said.

“To assist you in writing your messages.

“But it also means that the AI system will take your messages, it will read your messages, it will store your messages, it will use them to collate information.

“Because the way AI works – is by using the information that the user puts into it – this is going to give Google access to all of your text messages.”
