In this section, I’ll introduce you to some things to keep in mind when interacting with artificial intelligence chatbots. Artificial intelligence chatbots with Large Language Models are like very smart robots that have read a lot of books. They learn how to talk and answer questions by noticing how words are used in all the things they've read. When you talk to these chatbots, they remember what they've learned from reading to come up with good answers, just like a friend who's good at remembering stories and facts.

Artificial intelligence chatbots using Large Language Models work a bit like a word guessing game. They use statistics to make these guesses. When the chatbot gets a message, it looks at the words and, based on what it has learned from reading lots of text, it calculates which words are most likely to come next. It's like if you've seen the phrase "peanut butter and..." many times, you'd guess the next word is probably "jelly." The chatbot uses lots of math to make its best guess about what to say in response to what you've typed.

What you typed may or may not be stored in some database and used to train the bot. If a hacker got into that system, and you put confidential information into the chat bot, that could be bad. Bigger artificial intelligence chatbot companies as far as I know take a lot of care to make the system secure, and I think that artificial intelligence chatbots can bring a lot of value to a lot of people. So, I encourage you to try using an artificial intelligence chat bot from one of the more popular artificial intelligence chat bot companies, and please keep the following safety tips in mind.
