I use the #CAVA theme a lot in my AI keynotes: cognification, augmentation, virtualisation and automation - the 4 pillars of AI. It's not about replacing humans: it's about better tools!

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is now a "General Purpose Technology" that is becoming the next platform for everything. I use the acronym "CAVA" to describe the key capabilities of AI:

C: Cognitive Automation

A: Augmentation

V: Virtualization

A: Assistants

I emphasize that AI is evolving into a ubiquitous technology, influencing various aspects of our lives and industries. I suggests that within the next three years, every professional will have an AI assistant, highlighting the rapid integration of AI into daily workflows.

I advocate for a balanced approach to AI adoption, promoting the use of AI as "intelligent assistance" rather than striving for artificial general intelligence (AGI). This perspective underscores the importance of leveraging AI to enhance human capabilities while maintaining human control and oversight.

The CAVA concept encapsulates the transformative potential of AI in automating cognitive tasks, augmenting human abilities, creating virtual experiences, and serving as personal assistants, all while emphasizing the need for ethical considerations and human-centric implementation.
