Elon Musk announced yesterday that he had raised six billion dollars for his linear algebra startup, X.A.I., and that by the following year, artificial general intelligence would surpass human intelligence. Shortly after, Yann LeCun, the head of Meta's artificial intelligence team, entered the chat to criticise Elon on his own platform, essentially hinting that his forecasts are absurd. Elon clapped back, doubting Yann's knowledge of science.
