On 16 February 2023, FAO Liaison Office in Geneva, in collaboration with the FAO Markets and Trade Division, organized the FAO in Geneva Agriculture Trade Talks to discuss the role of digitalization in contributing to more economically, environmentally, and socially sustainable agriculture. Experts shared their insights with a focus on the African region as well as on the youth and technology and youth’s role in the sustainable agriculture agenda.

The dialogue provided an opportunity for winners of the FAO-Geneva Trade Platform Hackathon to present the application they designed to support sustainable fertilizer use by farmers.
