Future unveiled! Robots powered by AI on display at World Artificial Intelligence Conference

An android bends and stretches with the flexibility of a gymnast.

A quadruped robot from Chinese company Hangzhou Deep Robotics is also turning heads.

The World Artificial Intelligence Conference in China showcasing hundreds of AI-related products and innovations.

Around 25 robots are catching the eye of visitors, including some humanoid models that have never been seen before.

Kepler, a Shanghai-based robotics company, is showcasing their general-purpose humanoid robot.

It features a bionic humanoid structure and motion control, with up to 40 degrees of freedom in the whole body.

Droid Robot, also based in Shanghai, is showing off a slightly creepy-looking disembodied head.

The robot can mirror human expressions and feelings through computational analysis and is already for sale online for 170,000 RMB (24,000 USD).

The firm is also excited about another robot they claim to be the lightest biped humanoid robot in the country.

The WAIC exhibition ends on Sunday.
