I had an incredible opportunity to attend NVIDIA GTC 2025 in San Jose, a premier global AI conference showcasing cutting-edge advancements in AI technology, hardware, and software. One of the highlights was attending an IBM-sponsored session titled "AI Promise to Profits: Balancing the Cost of Compute with Business Needs", presented by Hillery Hunter, CTO of IBM Infrastructure.

At GTC NVIDIA, IBM announced their plans to launch a content-aware storage capability for their hybrid cloud infrastructure offering, IBM Fusion. They also intend to expand their watsonx integrations and are introducing new IBM consulting capabilities with NVIDIA to help drive AI innovation across the enterprise.

Together, IBM and NVIDIA are offering the solutions, services and technology to unlock, accelerate and protect data. They are helping clients overcome AI’s hidden costs, ethical dilemmas and technical hurdles that make sustainable AI monetization tricky.
