The House Judiciary subcommittees on Courts, Intellectual Property, Artificial Intelligence, and the Internet and the Constitution and Limited Government hold a joint hearing titled “Judicial Overreach and Constitutional Limits on the Federal Courts” at 10 a.m. ET on April 1 to examine recent court actions affecting presidential authority and explore potential legislative reforms.

Witnesses include Newt Gingrich, former congressman for Georgia and 50th Speaker of the United States House of Representatives; Paul Larkin, John, Barbara, and Victoria Rumpel senior legal research fellow at the Edwin Meese III Center for Legal and Judicial Studies at The Heritage Foundation; and Cindy Romero, victim of criminal activity perpetrated by terrorist organization Tren de Aragua in Aurora, Colorado.
