The CEO of this MARVEL initiative is Harssh Poddar, and through this initiative, the government aims to create AI tools that can help solve crimes.

With the help of these tools, the police can analyze years of data and extract details that can help solve long-running cases more quickly.

The police have criminal records from many years, which include photos and videos.

These new AI models will be able to notice all the details in CCTV footage and photos that would be extremely difficult for humans to analyze.

In the U.S., there is a similar tool called Raven Sentry, which had already predicted that the Taliban would attack Afghanistan.

Currently, only Maharashtra in India has taken such an AI initiative, and it can significantly help in law enforcement across the country.
