I just copy the data from my spreadsheet into ChatGPT, tell it to convert the data into a table.

Prompt: "convert the data into a table"

Now use the following command, 'Please separate the date column into three columns,' and that's it.

Prompt: "please separate the date column into three columns"

Notice the new column has the date separated.
This can also be done in reverse. Now, let's tell ChatGPT to merge the year, month, and day columns.

Prompt: "merge the year month and day columns"

When done, we can just paste the spreadsheet right back into your Excel.
